I know I sure wouldn't mind to be rollin around in the money their making and touring the world. Yes, you do have a point when you say their lyrics are relatively weak, but people in general don't want to listen to a song and try to analyse each line word by word. I think alot of the hate around nickelback comes from the fact that they've made it so big. People refuse to listen to them and try and be part of the in crowd that doesn't listen to the same music as everyone else. Well news to you guys by trying to be different from everyone you are all becoming the same. And whoever posted that video up their. That's the gayest **** i've ever seen. I could make a better one in media class at school.

I can think of a number of artists who consistently break the barriers set up by their last album. There is such a thing as creative genius and pride in some musicians, and as is clear with some rockstars que nickelback, that they are satisfied with putting out mediocre music so long as it sells.
Now for the second bit, that is kinda weak no? Unless the average age of people who post here is 13, I think the listening to music to be different is a thing of junior high, I listen to music that is different because I like it, but some of my favorite artists are still very successful, ie Beck, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Queens of the Stoneage etc. Just because I also listen to groups of a smaller fan base doesn't mean that is the reason why I do. It is kind of silly when people chastise music fans with specific tastes on attempting to be different as to go against the norm. Once again a junior high thing. And guessing by your media class at school comment, you are in junior high.
