Remember when player compensation was tied to 50% of Revenue? There has to be some.

I get that it sucks, but its the reality that we live in right now. Its not the players' fault, its not the Owners' fault. They are all simply unfortunate victims of timing.

Even if the players agreed to a formula that eliminates the artificial salary cap and escrow and actually share HRR at 50% for this season, I wonder if the owners would agree.
Because that’s revenue, not income. Would there be enough after operating costs for the owners to make a penny? Still seems like there would be significant operating costs, including travel, lodging, testing, etc.
The only hope here is an extremely short season with some fans by the end of it. And the players willing to play for maybe 1/3 of what their contract otherwise calls for.
