If he'd throw to him. Dude had like two targets, one catch for 4 yards or some such. Hard to say whether that's Wilson's fault or coaching, but given how much Wilson talks Metcalf up you wouldn't think he'd be cautious to throw to him, so I'm leaning coaching.

The heck are you talking about? The Rams didn't punt in the first half, and maybe punted once in the second half? When I turned the game off in disgust and switched to something watchable, they were at
9 out of 11 on third down conversions. That's horrendous.

Well, this I agree with you about. It coincided with the running backs all getting hurt. He can keep the team competitive with an awful defense, but he can't overcome that
and a complete lack of a run game.
"Let Russ Cook" does not mean that you let him be the chef while also asking him to serve tables, pour drinks, manage the staff and balance the books. He can't do everything.
