Helpful tip for the sad folk still waiting for their PS5:

When you set it up, it asks if you want to transfer saves, account data, and games over from your PS4 (you have to have them both connected to the internet).

Skip the game portion, just download those individually yourself from your library. I had a couple minor issues doing it (it bonked the only cross gen game I had) and there are some reports of worse issues regarding that feature. It'll be fixed in a firmware update, for sure, but just easier to avoid the hassle of having to reset the PS5 if something goes sideways.

In general: the PS5 is a nice upgrade. Everything feels smooth and fast, I love the new controller, and everything looks crisp.

Also: it's ####ing huge. Like, as big as you think it's going to look next to the rest of whatever your setup might be, it's bigger than that. That is easily my only complaint, it's just unreasonably big.
