I brought this up a few pages back but it didn’t get discussed much..

I think Hanifin for Carlo would be a smart move to not only open up cap space but shift the strength of our d core from the left side to the right.

I would still feel comfortable with Gio, Valimaki, Kylington, Mackey, Nesterov, Poolman etc. as lefties if it meant stacking our right side with 2 young top 4 guys and a vet in Tanev.

I feel like we have a lot of puck moving dmen as well so adding a guy like Carlo while also opening more opportunity for Valimaki, Kylington and Mackey is a good gamble.
