A trivia gameshow that has brought families together to watch, paid scholarships, prize money for teachers and students and generally helped educate and inspire countless people and he was the figurehead for that.

The only solace I take is that his pain has now ended and, knowing that it was coming, he was prepared and graced us with his presence.

RIP and Godspeed you magnificent man.

I hope after the funeral they shave his moustache and cast it in Bronze and put it in the Smithsonian or something.
I was thinking about that concept as well.

Funny how certain celebrity deaths strike a chord. For me it was James Gandolfini, Anthony Bourdain, David Bowie and Prince...
