Him and his cronies absolutely 100% need to be held accountable. I cant believe some people are actually suggesting to let things be, let him simply fade into obscurity. A bunch of old rich white men in positions of power being allowed to get away with what they did would be such an "American" thing to do. That mistake was made after Bush v.2 and his administration weren't pursued for war crimes and here we are.

I don't believe it sets a bad precedent like some suggested. There's a difference between wanting to jail someone like Obama for not agreeing with his policies vs wanting to hold accountable a guy like Trump who clearly committed crimes while in office. While most of the world is relieved Biden won, there is still a lot of talk from other countries moving forward without being dependent on the US. Holding that administration accountable would go a long way to rebuilding that trust.

I too am relieved, but know full well the same damn thing can happen again in 4 years except this time with a GOP administration that is a lot more competent. What's to stop the next round of GOPs from simply reversing what Biden does and once again trying to consolidate power for their own personal gain? Going after Trump and his cronies would go a long way to relieving some of those concerns and would give a definitive statement to the world that what happened is not acceptable and steps will be taken to ensure it doesn't happen again.

There is precedent of other countries holding their politicians accountable. Just because it hurts his followers feelings doesn't mean it shouldn't happen. I would be disgusted if him and his cronies are allowed to walk away like nothing happened and would brace myself in 4 years for the second round of this BS.
