I love cast iron, but there are definitely some things you just can't cook in there. For example, anything acidic will destroy the seasoning on the pan and dissolve it into the food. Some non-stick items just aren't quite possible to cook in there, week maybe if you'd just redone the seasoning?

Certain items like most meat, burgers, fried eggs, etc.. Are just way better in cast iron. So I'd definitely buy one, but you will need other pans.
