I disagree, it’s never someone else’s choice whether
you decide to treat them with respect or not and I don’t see what you stand to gain by dismissing them in any manor that is less than respectful.

People are working to actively manipulate these people and are going to continue doing so. Apathy and ignorance is what got the states where they are, IMO they need to change the course or the toxicity is going to increase.
