Not saying either of these guys are possible, but Backlund is expendable and we’re a Nylander or Reinhardt away from being a serious contender.

Until we see that Lindholm suddenly makes Backlund expendable, for a full season, I think that would be pre mature.
We don’t even know for sure yet that Lindholm will indeed play Center, and if he does and struggles, then he slides back to RW, where we have already seen him have success.
