I'm warming to the Monahan at wing idea, and playing his off-wing would allow for a very quick and sneaky release.

Giordano-Kylington
Valimaki-Tanev

The bottom six forwards, bottom pairing and goaltending tandem are miles ahead of last year. There could be some serious evening out of 5v5 minutes top to bottom. I really like the idea of Tanev and Gio in mentor roles for what could become a pairing down the road, of Valimaki-Kylington.
