Election officials have covered their asses. They knew that this was coming. Hell most people knew that this was coming the Republicans had been telegraphing this move for at least a month.
It will get dragged through the courts and it will go through due process. Those who believe it was rigged will go on believing their conspiracy, never the less, it will get proven with the best evidence available.
Voter fraud is very difficult to pull off. It requires voting on behalf of a person who is registered to vote. There is a system of checks and balances, it isn't like you can go through the phonebook and choose names at random and vote for them. You'd have to find someone who is registered but did not vote and vote on their behalf. In which case it would require faking who registered, something easy enough to find as most mailing votes can be tracked online to see if they have been counted yet.
Besides if Democrats cheated, they did a bad job of it because they still effectively legislate without the senate.
