I feel like we're now running up against the limits of the publicly available numbers, and it's impossible to speculate or discern patterns in places like Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Arizona.

All the various election maps have estimates of how many votes are in by county and by state, but there's no way to tell how accurate that is. It's also impossible to extrapolate from each county/state's current vote breakdown to predict how the remaining votes - however many there may be - will split.

I don't know about the rest of you, but the only way I'm able to get any sense of what is going to happen now is when we hear directly from the states themselves, providing direct numbers with respect to the current tallies and the number (and method) of votes outstanding.

Basically, I'm giving up on guessing now. Just going to have to wait this out, then wait out the recounts, then wait out the court challenges.

That's gonna mean a lot of drinks over the coming week or so.
