Boltmann reminds me of the Brandon Hickey pick from 2014.
Hickey played in a lower league (AJHL), and only had pretty decent numbers there.
He ended up being a decent prospect, and was traded as part of the package for Smith.
I think Hickey was a better pick than Hunter Smith or Mason McDonald, who were drafted that same year. Basically all of the 2014 picks were busts though, except debatably Bennett.
