Everything in his profiles discuss how he was playing in a league too good for his skill set so he must have been seemingly impressive. The quality of competition wasn’t there though, which is concerning, but these next couple years in college will give us a better idea of how to feel about it.

I know it probably wasn’t in the cards but it would have been nice to somehow use the Boltmann and Kuznetsov picks to move up and take another prospect with a great hockey name in Gunler.

Having said that I still think Kuznetsov wasn’t a bad pick per se.
Recent drafting has me just pretty much trusting what they think these days.

I think most of us know the first round, then know names that could have gone in the first round, but very little else.

So I certainly won't and can't defend any of their picks, but they've been right enough lately that I'll assume they project a right shooting, high character third pairing dman and went for it.
