After giving this some thought I disagree with the bolded. I think a close victory might be better for the country. A blue landslide would allow the left to dismiss the last 4 years as a "blip". A close victory for the Dems will hopefully help them see that their way isn't working. Half the country was willing to put a maniac back in the whitehouse for another 4 years rather than vote blue. Divides need to be bridged somehow, especially urban vs rural. Roll up your sleeves gentlemen.
