The only reason people abhor masks is because Trump and his administration told them masks don't make a difference. Their "team" told them not to wear masks and they jumped right on board with that and contributed greatly to the cause. Agreed. Trump made Covid measures political. It didn't have to be that way, but he and his supporters made it out to be an attack on him from the beginning.
