Just as public health measures in Canada are set at the provincial level, public health measures in the U.S. are set at the state level. Different federal leadership wouldn’t have changed much.

You say a lot of stupid ####, but this one takes the cake. The only reason people abhor masks is because Trump and his administration told them masks don't make a difference. Their "team" told them not to wear masks and they jumped right on board with that and contributed greatly to the cause. It was a show of the support for their team to not wear masks and they took it to extreme, not wearing masks because they knew it would piss off the libs.
These idiots certainly don't have a problem with wearing masks.
