So this may not seem all that important, but it is (I’ll get to why). In Nebraska’s 2nd district, there is that single electoral vote up for grabs—it’s basically Omaha and the surrounding area. Biden leads by 24,000 votes, about 53-45%, with 94% of the vote in.

That seems like it should be “callable” to me but the decision deals are being cautious. Either way that 1 EV looks like it will go to Biden.

What does that mean? In short it probably eliminates the 269-269 tie scenario. If Biden wins NE-2 he can win the election even if he loses Pennsylvania by winning Wisconsin and Michigan. That would be 270-268.
