Still pretty bold for a year where all the players are available.
For comparison to McDavid btw... his 16 year old season was actually a little
better than McDavid's 16 year old season.
McDavid: 66 pts in 63 games
Wright..: 66 pts in 58 games
pretty crazy.
And yes, McDavid went to the WJC that year, though he wasn't much of a factor. Also, McDavid is(was) much bigger than Wright (which matters in this tournament)
It will be interesting to see if they take him for the experience. But again, I think it will be tough considering the available depth this year.
