I think he might be referring to the publication ban and sealed youth record. Not suing for lost income.
On another note, I’m not really sure how the mother’s conduct outside of this incident is relevant. Unless someone is trying to suggest she wanted the media attention or was trying to extort the offender’s family or the coyotes but those seem pretty far fetched. Given the alleged evidence, I hardly think anyone could claim she’s fabricating the offences against her son.
