Odd take. Numbers have zero importance to anyone but the player. The whole “hockey numbers” stuff is dead. You’ve got goalies wearing 70, 88, players rolling around with all sorts of “WR numbers”.
The Brian Burke/Lou Lamarello argument on jersey numbers is just silly.
