They aren't the same thing at all, but that's good to know. It only took me about 8 weeks to get one through the hospital. They're using the old Children's equipment for outpatients now, so it will likely be faster now. 900 bucks seems like a lot to fork out for something that should/is covered under our plans....I guess it's important how serious a thing you are wanting MRI'd though.....and how much it's affecting you life, I guess.
