I've been following this thread for quite a while. I have come to the conclusion that there are a lot of people that want too much. The roads are fine. Were just getting used to the warmer winters with less precipitation. And when it does snow, they want it removed right away.
Snow removal is in fact a science and has many complicated variables. For anyone on the board to disagree or argue the point... well.. unless you work for the city making the decisions, then what you say really means nothing.
There has to be a fine balance between cost & time. That balance is what you have now. Hate to say it... but deal with it. This is Canada. I'd love to hear someone from Finland talk about this subject. I bet their way of thinking is entirely different than ours. They adapt, we refuse to.
