One important thing to look at is that high early voter turnout relative to historical levels or the other party is a sign of enthusiasm rather than of support. It does tend to Cannibalize your votes on Election Day. It’s still a good thing as enthusiasm is what drives turnout and turnout is what wins elections. It’s just more subtle then saying Dems are up by x points in early voting.
