Rittich
Ryan
2021 1st round pick
2022 2nd round pick (becomes a 2022 1st if the Flames make the SCF in 2021 or 2022)
Justification:
The cap hit is a wash (considering that the Flames will need to add a min. salaried forward and goalie after the trade)
The Hawks need a goalie with some potential upside.
The Hawks will want a young, cost-controlled forward and defenseman back.
Ryan comes off the books next season, so while he wouldn't be valuable for their rebuild, he wouldn't hinder it. Plus, he could have some value at the trade deadline.
Draft picks are to convince the Hawks to retain salary (basically buying draft picks that may be on the roster by the time the rebuild is over), and to take Ryan from us.
While Keith is not the player he was, he would fill the gap left by Hanifin and IMO, is still an OK player.
Why it is a long shot:
Kane and Keith unlikely to waive NMCs.
It's pretty big disruption to chemistry giving up that many roster players at once.
Chicago likely does not care about possible later round 1sts to retain that much. Teams with more cap space can offer similar deals while retaining less.
Giving up potentially two 1sts puts us squarely in win-now and mortgages the future.
Because every trade proposal I make is just awful.

The cap hit may be a wash in year 1, but not in years 2 and 3. And even in year 1, you still have to add 2 other players to the roster, so it isn't a wash.
