Calgary had an expected goals against of 2.69 (20th in NHL)
Vancouver had an expected goals against of 2.95 (28th in NHL).
So yes, we were better than Vancouver, but I would not call us "one of the best". Markstrom went from a bad defensive team to a less bad defensive team.
