It started snowing yesterday at about 5pm....snowed HARD all night...I woke up to almost 2 feet of snow....and I got in my truck an hour or two ago(lunchtime) and NONE of the roads have been plowed...NONE not a single one. Not the 403 not the QEW not the 401....all three of these roads are much bigger and busier then deerfoot and there is literally piles on snow on the road.....thank god I have a truck...no one else can even drive today......what a useless ass province this is....dont complain about Calgary...believe me they do a decent job all things considered.

I have no problems with the snow removal in Calgary. It's the utter morons that forget how to drive after snow storms that drive me batty. I recently moved to a small town outside Calgary to get away from these "i'm in a hurry to get somewhere" morons. The other advantage to living in a small town is that my insurance rates dropped a couple hundred a year AND everyone here knows how to drive during the winter. Plus no more looking in my rearview mirror to see if that moron can stop in time before he rear ends me.
