It has definitely begun.

I always cringe so hard whenever a politician/party/group uses the slogan "Take Back X" (see also Erin O'Toole's "Take Back Canada" slogan for the federal Conservative Party). The obvious follow-up question is, "From whom do you want to take back X?" It also implies that the person/group with that slogan sees themselves as the right and proper owner of X.
