The same person that was responsible for institution of all the reasons Hall had stunted development personally and no team success, and a generally frustrating time there the first time (bad coaching hires, the long history of creating a disorganized, toxic environment that no decent free agents choose to go there, misguided expectations for players etc etc) is still there and still doing the same things, overruling and meddling with hockey operations as he always has. Why would he go back if he now has the choice?
