I’m actually with you on this - I think teams get to pre occupied with losing stars for nothing.
Give his money to two or three other guys and spread the work out.
It’s worth mentioning that Johnny isn’t going to be getting $8M or $9M from anyone if he has two more seasons like this last one, so let’s not worry too much about life after Gaudreau just yet.
