He has already had a ceremony just make 2 and 25 retired like what Leafs did when they destroyed the forever Leaf program. He doesnt have to show up just put up the numbers in honor of their contributions. Its a 10 minute honor up they go and its done. I dont think Gilmour was there when his number went from honored to retired.
