Maybe Peyton Manning's glowing reference was convincing because the hire never made sense. He got fired by division rival Miami for losing and clashing with the owner. First thing he does in NY is clash with the GM getting him fired then sabotaged his relationship with their prized free agent acquisition before they even hit the practice field. He was a massive failure before the Jets even played their first game. Maybe he's a decent OC but he should never, ever be an NFL head coach again. He's not Hue Jackson or Freddie Kitchens bad but he's a really bad head coach.
