If Johnny won’t re-sign? Then yeah, you have to make trading him a priority. With Sean, I’m just not convinced he’s a player you build around going forward - and I guess at the end of the day, that’s why we’re hearing rumours about both of them potentially being moved.

I think Johnny’s skill set is just not in tune with the NHL game these days. Monahan’s not exciting, but scoring goals from the slot isn’t as passé as the button hook entry.
Frankly, Johnny was better when he used to go between the D. Now he tries to go around, and he can’t.
