I think it is a better idea to find good journalists and follow them on Twitter and read their stuff on Substack.
Glenn Greenwald and Matt Taibbi are two that do a really good job.
Matt Tabbi's book Hate Inc is really eye-opening.
If people want to find good journalists, they will. They are out there. Most people love partisan stuff though, and prop up the 'us versus them' narrative.
