It was a stupid comparison.
Brodie actually signed with a team that finished higher than the Flames in the standings. Plus he actually grw up in the area and was a Leafs fan growing up.
Hall signed with the 2nd worst team in the league over the last 15 years, second only to the lowly oilers.
