just assumed Noir was out of commission temporarily, he has super healing and durability. I got the impression that this was kind of like his off switch as he reflexively ate the whole bar like he'd been brainwashed to do.

A really good season, but still a bit of a disappointment as my expectations were higher than what we got.

The Good
Homelander and his son, stormfront, hughie, frenchie, mothers milk, starlight were all up to my expectations

The Bad
Everything with Maeve is boring. The Lamplighter character was so inconsistent that I never found him compelling, they should have made him a full psycho instead of trying to soften him up. Making the AOC character the head burster was lame, they didn't really set it up and it didn't really make sense, I'd rather they deal with it better in the next season.

The nitpicking
They need to drain all the Jack Sparrow out of butcher's character, sauntering around like he's always on acid doesn't match the character at all. I like Kimiko, but I think they could get a lot more out of the character and that the actress and writers are still trying to figure her out. Overall the show felt a lot more typical this season, and the leaned on a lot of the tropes common of these anti-hero shows oh, but still manages to be better than just about everything else.

I hope doppelganger shows up again in the future and he just faked having his neck broken so he could escape the hell homelander had created for him.
