Well, you can feel warm and fuzzy about Backlund as a Flames fan all you want and think he has a lot of value.
Truth is, players like him (e.g. Tyler Johnson) are getting waived and clearing. Is that set in stone for Backlund? no. However, he doesn't have the value some seem to believe on here imo.
