This core has hand ample opportunity to do anything in the playoffs and they fail over and over. Going into a new season without changing them, I have no clue how people expect them to perform differently.
Even better is the Flames get a further disinterested Gaudreau as he counts down the days when he can sign in Philly or anywhere East coast USA. Goaltending did not cost the flames the past two playoff rounds they were in. The flames best players playing scared and getting their heads caved in is what cost them. Keeping those same players and changing the goalie and the #2-3 dman is not going to get you a better result.

People can dispute this but unfortunately it is 100% spot on. The only 2 xfactors are if Markstrom can have a vezina season and carry it into the playoffs and/or if Valimaki finds a Game changing Heiskenan level of play.
