Well, with the Insiders releasing information at times slightly disconnected from actuality I got the player wrong, but had nailed the process. Treliving and Team obviously worked themselves into a situation of desperation which Tanev's Team identified and smartly leveraged to maximize his compensation to the tune of likely an extra $4 million.
The fact a Hockey Operations Team with not one, not two, but three (!) assistant general managers wasn't able to maneuver more fluidly in the situation is alarming. The Process.
