That Neal signing is the reason we are paying a 3 liner top line money that could be used to bring in another high profile player.
I think Tanev will be a good addition hopefully for the full length of the contract and the Goaltending looking solid.

The Neal signing didn't become an issue until the end of the regular season. Like I said, he was signing to that deal based on pure hard evidence that the guy was a lock for 20 goals minimum. There was no reason to think other wise. What Neal did to the Flames is on him and him alone. He should be public enemy number 1 for all Flames fans for all time. Flipping clown robbed the Flames.
Anyways, yeah we got Lucic but we are paying him less than we would be paying Neal and he actually does something positive for the team.
It sucks, but this wasn't the Flames or Trelivings doing. This is all on James "The real dipsheet" Neal.
Brouwer sucked, wasn't a good add for a young core. Trees heart was in the right place but that signing belongs right beside the Hamonic deal, I.e abject failure. Man, I'm so mad still thinking about that Hamonic trade.
