Brodie's camp would have to keep some sort of open line going with Calgary just in case literally everything else fell apart, but IMO that guy was planning to be out the door the second any formidable offer came in to his agent.
Tre literally traded him last off season. He was gone and only Kadri and his NTC kept Brodie here. I know they're professionals and all, but there is no way that sits well with a core player who had been with the org for a dozen years.
Word on the street is his place has been packed up for quite a while now too. The guy was not coming back.
