Hockey is a team sport. You can slot in guys who when you look at their individual stats are considered high acheivers. But what this team needs is more guys with higher GAF meters. How many Flames games did we watch this year where it just seemed like no one cared? The more guys we can bring in who dont take any games off the better if you ask me. Very pleased with this signing. Sometimes theres things guys bring that dont show up in the stats. Mental toughness and on the flip side mental fragility (which this team suffers from) dont show up there. But Tanev is a warrior.
