Black Noir was the only character Homelander seemed even remotely afraid of. Ignoring him for the first season was funny, and making him unstoppable in the second season (almost) made him the ultimate wildcard. I don't know if they would actually take him down by tree nut, but I'd almost be ok with it because that is also pretty funny.

I've purposefully stayed away from the comics.
