What I think I’m most frustrated about is the fact that this team can never go bargain hunting or try to take advantage of cap space.

We had some cap space this offseason...better go spend $10.5M on Markstrom and Tanev in day 1.

Why not try to just get a value deal from a team trying to clear cap? NJ was able to get Murray for a great deal.

A third of the league is at the cap and it appears the Flames didn’t even try to take advantage of the cap space we had.

Ah well. Hopefully he can find his game again and reverse the trend of his last two years.
