The Ryan contract has been a no-brainer solid deal imo. Very smart, responsible player. Everything the team could ask for.
IF Bennett surpasses him then that's great for the Flames. And if they trade Ryan for that reason, that's fine. But until then, I have no idea how anyone could be upset with that UFA contract.
