This isn't true at all
He just had one of his better seasons this year if you trust Canuck fans. He tied his best regular season in points, he was 2nd behind only Hughes for points by defenseman in the playoffs, he scored a series winning clutch goal to beat Minny, all while being a leader and the best defensive dman on the team
Also even though it keeps getting mentioned that Tanev is incapable of staying healthy and playing over 70 games, it's worth mentioning the Canucks only played 69 games this season. Chris Tanev played all 69, he didn't miss a single game
