Hamonic: $3.875 (why this much? I never liked it)
Tanev: $4.5M
It cost an extra $600k to replace a player that cost a 1st and two 2nds.
It’s a bargain if they produce at similar levels. Hamonic’s fancy stats are just as appalling as Tanev’s, outside the years Brodie and Hanifin dragged him around.
I’ve never had a problem with Tanev watching the Canucks play. I suspect he’ll become a fan favorite, though it’s aways possible Loubardias poisons the well with hyperbolic tales of Tanev being the finest human being to ever lace up a pair of skates.
