I don't mind this signing.. needed to replace Brodie and Harmonic. He is also loved by Canucks fans and a heart and soul guy. As long as no more veterans are signed, I am good with:

..makes me wonder though.. I guess the Flames are out on Hall? Can teams go over the cap during the off-season?
