For the "tight" defence Blaster claims they play, they sure allowed quite the volume of shots against in that Vegas series. Particularly that differential in game 7.
If that's how much you give up with this allegedly amazing commitment to Travis Green's super duper defensive structure, how many would they give up under a typical system?
That, or maybe the Canucks simply are just not a great team in their own end and Markstrom's .911 and .918 behind that group is way more impressive than its being made out to be by him to console himself on what is inevitably going to be a downgrade in moving on to Holtby.
